MIXER

Portable Mixers from Neptune Mixer Company A Division of Neptune Chemical Pump Company Neptune mixers have been designed, engineered and built to provide long life and trouble-free service in a wide variety of blending/mixing operations. These mixers are popularly used to:

  1. Blend liquids.
  2. Suspend or dissolve solids
  3. Disperse immiscible liquids
  4. Disperse small amounts of gases in liquids

Neptune portable mixers can be clamp- or base-mounted on beams, tank walls or other supports. Angle of entry may be adjusted to meet specific mixing requirements.

Neptune portable mixers find use in a variety of different industrial applications waste treatment, water treatment and batch chemical preparation.

PUMP

Series 500-A “dia-PUMP”

Features

  • Standard Motor—TEFC: 1/3HP-1ph-115VAC-60c-Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled with built-in automatic thermal overload
  • Ten turn micrometer dial calibrated in 1% increments.
  • Bright color contrasted dial protected from corrosion by clear PVC covering.
  • Stroke mechanism moves only when adjustment is made, eliminating wear.
  • Piston is powered through complete stroke length at all capacity adjustments eliminating stress, wear and shock of lost motion designs.

Series 560 “dia-PUMP”

Features

Series 560 has the same features as Series 500-A (see page 4) except these models can be duplexed. Any duplex combination can be created using any models (on pages 7 and 8), as long as both have the same stroking speed.

Double Diaphragm With Leak Detection

Neptune offers a double diaphragm option for critical applications where contamination or diaphragm failure must be detected immediately. The design uses two “dry” coupled diaphragms with a vacuum-sealed space in between, monitored by a pressure switch that can stop the pump or trigger an alarm. This eliminates the need for conductivity probes and ensures reliable protection even with low-conductivity fluids.

Series 600 “dia-PUMP”

Features

  • Capacities to 240 gph (908 lph)
  • Pressures to 4000 psi (280 kg/cm2)
  • Accepts standard 56C motor.
  • Pump capacity is adjustable by micrometer dial while pump is running or stopped.
  • Capacity Control Options: Electric positioners or variable speed drives are available for automatic capacity control.
  • EZE-CLEANTM valves are removable without mdisturbing piping.
  • Variable Oil By-passTM stroke adjustment allows improved valve performance over variable linkage designs. (See Bulletin DP-1100 for details on “How It Works”.)
  • Hydraulically balanced Teflon® diaphragm eliminates stress.
  • Power train operates submerged in oil for extended service.

Series 7000 “dia-PUMP”

Features

  • Capacities to 300 gph; aPressures to 150 psi
  • Pump capacity is adjustable by micrometer dial while the pump is running
  • 10 turn micrometer dial calibrated in 1% increments; Bright colored contrasted dial protected by clear PVC covering
  • Micrometer stroke length adjustment allows 10:1 turndown
  • Variable speed drives allow greater turndown range or automatic capacity control
  • All moving parts run submerged in oil for extended service
  • All models accept standard 56C frame motors; 70XX models available also with integral motors
